If there is no more tomorrow

I watched 2012 on Friday with jiejie, HuiSze, Jonathan, Andrew and Hussain..
After the deplorable 'Day After Tomorrow' I wasn't expecting much, but this is an entertaining movie with mind-boggling special effects.

This 2.5-hour-long movie was about how the world come to its end on December 21 of 2012. Lands of our mother earth sank down and all of the creatures were buried alive by tsunami. Although the exaggerated story line and some scenes with impressive special effects were not very realistic, but it gave me a total adrenaline rush and I somehow believe that the world is going to end very soon. A heartbreaking scene that still remains vivid in my mind is Tony being unable to bid his son farewell through the phone.

According to a report by scientists at Oregon State University’s Hatfield Marine Science Center, more than 600 earthquakes in the last 10 days off the central Oregon coast in an area not typically known for a high degree of seismic activity were recorded. What a devastating news==" Look at the numbers of global disasters like Tsunami, high impact earthquake, and flood that had caused massive loss of life and made billions of people homeless in the past few years. To me, they no longer seems to be natural disasters but are the results of human destructive acts and technology's impact on the environment.

When I went back, I hugged my dad and whispered to him:" If we are dying tomorrow, I wish I will die hugging you tightly like now." I wish I could tell my family members, all of my beloved friends and the one I like now that I love them before it's too late but guess I just need more courage to do so^.^
